Pottery Barn Faux Bug Knockoff {The CSI Girl}

Hi and welcome back to The CSI Project!

It is almost that creepy time of year so this week’s knockoff project features a creepy spider! I was inspired by Pottery Barn’s creepy tablescape. The best thing about this project is literally cost me $1. Compare that to Pottery Barn’s $12.99 and I am very happy!

This is Pottery Barn’s version of a Faux Bug on a Stand.

Here is my version.

I had everything I needed at home except the spider I bought from the Dollar Tree and spray painted.

It is a glow in the dark spider but of course I wanted a black one. A little spray paint solved that problem.

After I painted and glued everything, I was done.

I also wanted my spider to have green tips and eyes. Just my spin on it!
