CSI Chic Chronicles{Fall Organization Tips from Hefty}

Hefty
Easy Ways to Stay Organized this Fall

Fall is a notoriously busy time of year. Between after school activities, Halloween prep and the proximity to

the holiday season, there’s a lot think about in addition to your busy day-to-day schedule! When you’re facing

a packed fall schedule, a few simple organization tricks can make everything a little more manageable. Use the

following home organization ideas from Hefty® to help your fall season run more smoothly:

    1. Keep a chalkboard or whiteboard in the kitchen and every Sunday, write out the dinners for the week. Not only

will this help you meal plan in advance, but your picky eaters also won’t have an excuse to complain since they’ll

      know what’s coming up.

    1. Hang up hooks or keep a coat rack by the door to make it easy to grab scarves, jackets and sweatshirts as

you’re running out the door. If you always know where your outerwear is, you won’t waste time searching through

      messy bedrooms or closets.

    1. If you don’t have room in your closet to hang lots of bulky sweaters, consider investing in www.hefty.com/products/home-storage/hefty-storage-solutions/”>plastic containers instead. Fold up your

sweaters and stack the containers on a shelf or in the front of your closet for easy access on chilly mornings.

    1. Fall signals the beginning of the holiday season, starting with Halloween and lasting through the New Year,

meaning you’ll probably have a lot of baking to do. Get your kitchen ready by stocking up on common fall spices

and labeling canisters of flour, sugar and other supplies to make baking a cinch.

    1. Gift giving is another part of the holiday season that you should start prepping for sooner rather than later.

Start stocking up on greeting and thank you cards, gift wrap, ribbon and even small presents for last minute gift

giving. This way, you can spread out the cost and beat the holiday rush.

  1. Organizing your shed or garage will help you be prepared for the first big leaf or snowfall. Hang shovels and

rakes on hooks for easy access and make sure to stock up on lawn and

    trash-bags/large-trash-bags/lawn-and-leaf/”>leaf bags

to dispose of sticks, branches and leaves when you

    need to.

These simple tips only take a little bit of effort but can make a huge difference in your daily life. Getting

organized can lead to less stress and give you more time to easily get through everything on your to-do list,

meaning you’ll be free to enjoy all the best parts of fall.
