Challenge of the Week{Halloween Mantels and Wreaths}

Welcome back to another crafty week!

We are counting down the days and weeks until Halloween.

That means getting into the Halloween spirit or in the Day of the Dead spirit.

I thought dressing up as a dead bride would be fun to celebrate

Dia DeLos Muertos.

Creepy!!! But all in the Day of the Dead spirit!

We are also counting down to Halloween by
having some AWESOME

Halloween Challenges!

This week we want to see your Halloween Mantels and Wreaths.

I love to decorate mantels and doors for well, any holiday or just because.

I am sure you do too and you can share it here!

What I love about creating wreaths is they don’t have to take a lot of time or a lot of money!

I made this ribbon wreath in the time it took me to watch a TV show.

I also got all of the ribbon on sale, so this was done on a low budget and just in time for Halloween.

A tradition in our neighborhood is to “BOO” each other. So, this year I created a wreath that could tell everyone that we have been “BOOED.”

This wreath is so simple.

I started off with 5 different kinds of ribbon. I cut all of them into pieces.

Then, I just tied onto my wreath form.

I added, “We’ve Been Booed.”

Now, everyone will know when they come up to our door that we have been Booed!

This week if you created it or decorated it

and it is a mantel or wreath

and it is Halloween themed,

then you know what to do.

LINK IT UP!!!

Come on back tomorrow to meet our guest judge of the week!
