There is so much talent out there and I am so honored you came here to show off!!!
Be sure to go through the links and find some inspiration for yourself.
Our guest judge, Barbara from The Everyday Home, had the most difficult job picking the winners. I think she did a great job!
This is what Barbara had to say about her CSI judging experience:
Dee graciously invited me to be a Guest Judge at her Linky Party. When she asked,
my first thought was “how hard can it be?” Yea. Famous last words. I have decided
that I don’t think I would like being a judge at the Olympics. I think it would be
very hard to be critical of participants day in and day out and finally having to pick a
winner. Judging for the Hearts Only Challenge was very hard. But, I loved the theme
of this challenge. Lots of different projects and inspiration – and even some I have
never seen and now can’t wait to try.
Thanks Dee for allowing me to play judge for this event.
Let’s see how she did.
And the winners are…….Drum roll Please!
Judge’s comments in BOLD!
I don’t quilt, but I have a tremendous appreciation for anyone who does.
This quilt is an act of love, and the heart design makes it even more special.
I love the reversible pattern design.
I just love burlap. I love pillows.
Putting the two together makes my heart sing. I love all the varied sizes of hearts
on this pillow.
#3, Mini Heart Banner from The Ever Budding Bear Blog.
I have seen and also made my fair share of banners, but I have to say this is one
of the most original takes I have seen in a while. I love the various layers and
the vintage feel.
#9, Heart Soaps from Hoopla Palooza Blog.
I too just discovered the fun art of making handmade soaps, and I love
her whimsical take of adding small trinkets and sprinkles (fun!) to the
soaps.
#10, Heart Art by The Ever Budding Bear.
Love this unique idea of embroidering on the burlap and framing it makes it
even sweeter.
#14, Valentine Cookies by Priscillas Blog
All I can say is wow! These are more than cookies they are little works of art.
And I am not talking about just a few, I am talking about a LOT of cookies. I
was totally impressed and can only imagine how time consuming this must
have been. This is another beautiful act of love.
From our Judge:
So those are my honorable mentions. (Dee said I could only have about 5
or everyone would have been “rewarded.”) 🙂 Great job everyone!

I adore these scarves! This one is so cute! Thanks for sharing here at The CSI Project.
