I love a blank canvas.

I love the endless possibilities that it represents.
I always buy a few when I go to Michael’s and you can catch some good sales on them.
That way we always have them on hand when the inspiration strikes.
Our favorite family activity is to work on one canvas together. One person starts it and then everyone after that adds to it. So, you have to either go with what the person started or change it up. Each person gets 30 minutes to work on it. Tons of fun and what you end up with may surprise you!
So, one day I had one of those days where I didn’t have anything pressing to do. Rare but wonderful.
A paint brush in my hand was just the thing I wanted to do. With summer in mind, I was inspired.

When I think summer, I think of watermelon. Yum!

I had vinyl cut out to spell summer for 2 years now and I finally used them in this painting.
I put them on the canvas and painted over them. Then, peel off.
Easy peasy!

This was such a fun painting and I can’t wait to find a place for it!
Such a fun way to kick off summer!

Summer is almost here!!!!!
So, I ask you, What would you do with a blank canvas?
Challenge yourself!
Always remember to keep on creating, then share and you are sure to inspire!
