Halloween is just around the corner and that means Halloween Decor will start to come out!
The air will get cooler, the candy bought and then your door bell will ring.
Trick or Treat
Smell my feet……something like that!
Candy! Speaking of candy, I made a candy dish using a thrift store find.
I found this wall plaque at the thrift store. I loved it because it says, Hope and I have a sweet dog named Hope. So, I bought it for $1 and took it home.
There it sat until I got a great idea. Even though I love that it says Hope, it had to go. A Halloween Skull Candy Dish was born!
I took off the hanger on the back and painted it using my Martha Stewart Metallic paint.
Then, I sanded it down and gave it that distressed look.
Spooky!!!
Then, I added a skull that I found in my craft room. Just sitting there all alone.
Spooky!!!
I needed a base so I grabbed a flower pot and painted it, sanded it and glued it to the top.
Then, to continue with the Spooky!!! design, I took some sticks from my yard. Painted them white and added them to the base. I just wrapped them around it.
Spooky!!!
Add some candy!!!!
I just love my new Spooky, creepy Skull Candy Dish. When I saw that lonely skull in my craft room, I just knew I could create something to highlight him. Mission accomplished!
