A few months ago, I fell in love with a Mason Jar Light Kit that I found on Darby Smart.
You can find the same one here.
After I bought it, I had no idea how I wanted to use it so it sat in the corner. The corner of my craft room where good ideas go to die. But then with Valentine’s Day around the corner, I had a an idea.
I started this project with small cute hearts I found at Michael’s. They are adorable and I got a box of them for $2.99. Some have words on them and others are plain.
I added red and white sprinkles to my mason jar and then added the hearts. The ones with words I made sure would face the outside so they would be seen.
For the mason jar lid……….
……Since I am loving all things gold right now, I knew that I had to spray paint the lid gold.
With this kit, this project was so easy. I am loving it on my buffet in my dining room with all my other Valentine Decor. The great thing about this project is I can change it out for even more holidays like St. Patrick’s Day. How cute would this look with shamrocks in it.
Or I can finally add the sand and momentos from our beach vacation last summer. After all, I made Mr. CSI bring back a water bottle full of sand for me.
Be sure to check out Darby Smart for more great kits and if you love this one like I did then head over there!
So Valentine Sweet, So Valentine Easy and So CSI Project Cute!
