Crafting and creativity doesn’t have to cost a lot! You can find ways to create with things you may have around the house and this Pineapple Art is an example of that. I love coming up with new ways to create! Also, with kids you sometimes can’t run out of the house to buy craft supplies so what does a parent do-they improvise!

I found this bead board sign at Michaels and fell in love.

Bead board is so lovely and I didn’t have to buy a huge sheet and have it cut, so even better. Thanks Michael’s! My crafter’s paradise!!!

I took a sponge that I had in my cleaning supplies. Cut a simple shape and dipped in paint. Easy!

I used Americana Décor Chalk Paint from DecoArt.

Free handed a pineapple shape using squares and a small triangle for the edges. Then, for the stem I used fabric from my stash because-well, you know I have a huge fabric stash, ya’ll.

Using stamps made out of a sponge is a great way to get the kiddos crafting this summer. Inexpensive and fast! With kids around those are my 2 favorite ways to entertain them, make it cheap and fast!

But even for our adult creating hands, creating stamps with sponges is a winner! Get creative ya’ll!
