DIY Shark Craft

         It’s……….

Let’s celebrate with a quick and easy Shark inspired craft. And I should mention very inexpensive to make.

I found small boogie boards made of foam at the Dollar Tree and knew they would make a good shark head. Some see a pool toy, I see a craft.

The life of a crafter, huh!!??

Anyway, I bought gray spray paint and had everything else I needed at home. Here is a list of everything I used.

* Boogie boards (Dollar Tree $1 each)

* Spray paint $3.99 ( Ace Hardware)

* Paper Plate

* Black scrapbook paper

* Scissors

* Glue gun or any glue of your choice

* Craft knife or kitchen knife

First, I spray painted and then cut of the mouth of the shark. Use a craft knife or a kitchen knife to cut of your shape.

It is kind of a half moon shape. I free handed it.

Then, I took a paper plate but you can use white paper to make teeth if you want to. I folded the paper plate and cut out teeth. Sharp teeth. Some long. Some short. Add red paint if you want it to look like blood. Ewww! Bad sharks!

For the eyes, I also did a half moon shape and just glued on to the side.

These sharks would make a great and inexpensive addition to a summer party or just because it’s……………….
