“I can’t find a pencil!”
“Where is this and that?”
You know how it is. It is time to do homework and the kids need something, can’t find something or just good ole’ fashioned delaying the homework.
Solution: YES!!! I’ve got one!
And it is so inexpensive to make and it keeps all of those “homework” items handy.
First, I bought a lazy Susan at Target and while I was there I found this cute pail that looked like a pencil in the Dollar Deal aisle.
First, I painted my lazy Susan gray. Then, for the center, I traced the lazy Susan onto cardboard. An old cereal box. To make it school themed, I added scrapbook paper and glued down to Lazy Susan.
I used old soup cans for the pencils. Painted them yellow and added notebook paper. Tied with green twine.
For the glue sticks, I just used a small mason jar I found at Hobby Lobby. I glued down all of the containers and I was done.
You can even add your own message with a chalkboard clip board that I found in the Target Dollar Deal Aisle. Never miss an opportunity to reinforce the message.
As Mr. CSI has said many times, “Less music, More Homework!”
