Upcycling is one of my favorite ways to craft!
It is inexpensive and you are creating something for a new purpose, a new life!
That is why I am a great keeper, ahem- ok hoarder- of all things that could be turned into crafts later.
I like to go to Farmer’s Markets for fresh fruit or I order fruits and veggies that are delivered right to my house. Its an amazing service and the fruit is always so fresh. Every time I get fruit, I fall in love with these Berry Baskets.
So, as any good crafter does, I keep them because I know one day they will be upcycled into something new.
Insert a kids craft perfect for Halloween.
We call him “Hairy” the spider.
So, Meet Hairy.
With very little supplies needed this craft is easy and fun for kids. Be sure to glue the pipe cleaners to the inside of the basket so the legs are sturdy. I got all my supplies at Michaels. This craft is inexpensive too.
