I love making my home a fun and safe place for kids to Trick or Treat to on All Hallows Eve. So, I try to create cute decorations and this Candy Corn Smiley Face craft is just that- Fun and Cute!
Bring on the Trick or Treaters!
I am also excited about this craft and this crafty week because all week we are featuring ways to use Oly*Fun Material brought to you by
3 crafters, including me, got busy creating fun projects using the oly material and now we get to show you our Halloween inspired crafts!
So, be here ALL week for new inspiration daily and because I LOVE my readers, someone will win their own Oly Material.
EEEK! That is SO exciting! After using Oly Material and am so excited for you to use it too!
For this candy corn craft, I was inspired by a wood Christmas tree that I found at Hobby Lobby.
Yep, Christmas inspired Halloween. Go figure!
Because I didn’t want it to look like a Christmas tree, I added a piece of wood to the bottom.Easy.
Now, the fun part. Oly*Fun!
The Oly material is easy to ruffle. Using this technique, I have also ruffled crepe paper.
Use your sewing machine. Place it on the loosest stitch settings and leave thread at the end so you can ruffle. It will already ruffle some but just push down and pull thread. Now you get more ruffles.
Then, I just glued {hot glue} on my wood tree.
White, Orange and yellow just like a candy corn. Then, I added googly eyes and a smiley smile using pipe cleaner.
This guy will be a cute addition to my porch for Halloween. Ready to greet those cute kids.
You can’t go wrong with candy corn anything!
Am I right or what?
Stick around this week for more Oly*Fun inspiration! It is going to be fun and we could all use more Halloween crafty inspiration!
