Keep it Simple Silly!
Why do we have to make things so complicated in crafting, in decorating and not to mention in Life!
Sometimes you just need to slow down, take a deep breath and keep it simple!
This feather wreath was formally a Valentine’s wreath but after about 4 years, I thought it needed a makeover.
I found these little trees at JoAnn and bought the pom pom fringe there too! I remembered that I had also bought the “Merry” gift tag from Hobby Lobby so I added it too.
All I needed was my glue gun and I got busy with the
K.I.S.S method in mind.
I am in love with this simple, chic look! Reminds me to keep this holiday season simple and focus on the memories made more than the hustle and bustle. I can already feel the tug to get busy and pile more on my plate and it isn’t even Thanksgiving yet.
Am I the only one?
Probably not. So, make a promise to yourself to focus on the meaning of the holiday season. Whatever that is to you.
For me, as someone who loves to create and decorate, I want to still do that but keep it simple and meaningful. There is nothing wrong with doing what you love and keeping busy. Just remember why you are doing it in the first place.
