Name Tag Badge Reindeer Ornament {kids craft}

I love a Christmas tree with a theme but I also love our tradition of getting a real tree and decorating it with family ornaments. That means fun ornaments that we make ourselves.

This is a great way to get the kids involved so this reindeer is an easy and fun kids craft for ya!reindeer6You will need plastic name tag badges that you can get at any office supply store or online.

Also, grab some felt or scrapbook paper, red shiny felt ball, clothespins, paint and googly eyes. You will also need glue of your choice. I used a glue gun.

You will also need ornament hooks.

I put my felt inside the name tag pouch and glued on the eyes and nose on the outside. Glue down the clothespins so that don’t shift after you put on tree.

I did 2 different shapes. You can leave it as a vertical square or I cute the name tag in a triangle. Just glue down the sides so it closes.

This is a fun way for the kids to create ornaments. Let them embellish the reindeer. Maybe add a bow or jingle bells. Since these are plastic, they will stay good from year to year.

Get crafty this Christmas season and encourage crafty kids!
