“Finally” in 2016: Word of the Year

Word to your mother……..

If you can finish that song then you remember Vanilla Ice as well as I do!

It is 2016, my crafty friends and that means that a new year of creations is upon us. I am so excited!

My house is back to normal and clean. Maybe not organized but clean. And I let one of the CSI kids help me choose a word to live by for the year. We did it Roulette style. You know….flip through a book and whatever your finger lands on….that is the word!

So, my word is “Finally.”

Now, at first I thought. Yes, finally everything I have wanted, asked for, prayed for but then it hit me. No. That is not what it means for me.

After much thought, I realized that “finally” means with every step I take and every path I choose this year, I will “finally” do it with intention and with a clear direction. A direction that makes everything that was impossible-possible.

Why choose one word to help propel you into a new year?

It empowers you to believe in the good things that can happen. It empowers you to want to try harder. It can challenge you.

Choose a word. One word and challenge yourself to live it out loud in 2016!

This year and every day, here at The CSI Project, we say

Always remember to Create, Share and Inspire!
