Emoji’s are the new language.
Don’t believe me. Text a teenager.
I am not fluent in Emoji’s but I do think they are cute.
So, if you have someone in your life who loves to communicate with emoji’s like a teenager. Then, you will love this!
I found this cute heart basket at the thrift store and of course with Valentine’s Day on my mind, I picked it up.
I figured it would be a cute way to display Valentine gifts and please the teen in my home. Either she thinks its cute and fun or it will embarrass her. Either way, I did my job!
So, I looked up heart emojis and with some paint, 3 wood hearts from Michael’s, I transformed this basket.
I think the one winking is my favorite. Don’t ask me to text it to you because I would have no idea how to but I can paint it.
A thrift store upcycle gets heart emojis from me. I love a good thrift store find! But I love making it my own even more.
The original basket was $1.99. I bought 3 wooden hearts for less than a $1.
This is love! Thrifty, Cute and upcycling at its best!
Get creative and spread the emoji love this Valentine’s Day!
