Halloween is on the brain but that doesn’t mean I still don’t look at the Christmas decor.
I looked over and there was a santa on the shelf at a thrift store

I knew it would be easy to remove all the hanging parts and just simply paint. I started by painting it all white. Then added yellow/gold chalk paint and orange.
The burlap tag and twine was added too.
I think paint is my favorite craft tool because you can transform anything with paint. Adding embellishments is just the icing on the cake.
I felt like “eat me” was appropriate for the tag, This candy corn has its own tag line.
Like the Real Housewives on Bravo……. which may or may not have been on TV as I made this post.
This candy corn craft was so easy and fast to create.
I am not ready for Santa crafts……yet so move over Santa. The Candy Corn is out for tricks and treats.
