Buffalo Check Christmas DIy

Fun Fact: Buffalo Check or Buffalo Plaid originated in Scotland and brought to the United States in the 1800’s. Black and red or black and white, all of it is perfect for Christmas decor.

For this wreath I bought just a wire circle at Michael’s. These are cheaper than other wreath forms.

I also bought Buffalo Check ribbon that is soft like flannel with texture. It is also wide. You can find it with the Christmas ribbon. To go along the sides I had a small pom ribbon that I added. This gave it a more finished look.

This is easy to make. Just wrap the ribbon and hot glue. For the top and bottom, I glued down over the wire.

I found this sign at The Dollar Tree as well as the deer ornament. Both gold and glittery. Both perfect!

I love the way this turned out and with the Buffalo Check ribbon, I made one more craft.

More gold and buffalo check combo.

From a thrift store haul, I had this painting and a wood angel. I painted the frame white and angel gold.

I covered the painting with the ribbon and just glued down the angel.

2 cute Christmas crafts using Buffalo Check.

2 inexpensive crafts to create.

Wreath wire form- $2.99

Gold sign and ornament-$2

Ribbon- $15 but I got 40% off

Thrift store Painting- $3.99

Wooden Angel- $1.99

In the season of being grateful, I am grateful we have Buffalo Check and someone brought it to America for all of us to enjoy!

This season keep your decor thrifty, keep it buffalo check and keep it cute!
