Welcome to our latest challenge linkup: Beachy Vignettes and Projects! With the heat index rising this summer, a trip to the seashore is in order. Nothing beats the heat like salty sea breezes and cool waves splashing over your feet. While not all of us have an ocean view, we can find ways to bring a little bit of the beach into our homes. If you are longing for a walk in the sand at sunset, to be skimming waves in a sailboat, or to have your own little cottage by the sea, then this challenge is for you! Paula from Sweet Pea showed us how she used seashells and colors of the sea to decorate her mantel for summer. From Our Adventures in Big Ole Texas, Patty demonstrated a fun way to turn a mantel into a nautical display. Wendy stopped by from Craft Goodies to display her pretty poolside patio decor. This week, we're pleased to have Kelli Wilson joining us as guest judge for the Beachy Vignettes and Projects Challenge. We are not simply a linky party. We have a specific theme for each week. All submissions are competing to be the judge’s top pick. If your project does not incorporate the theme we will have to remove it. 2.
