Leprechaun Hat DIY’s- 2 Ways

Holiday decor doesn’t have to take a lot of time to create or be expensive. Using a flower pot and round tupperware from The Dollar Tree along with some embellishments such as ribbon, St. Patrick’s Day items, cardstock, I created 2 Leprechaun DIY’s for ya.

First, I took green chalk paint and painted the flower pot. I also added glitter after a layer of paint. Glitter will stay on but you can also mod podge to add glitter. Using ribbon, I wrapped it around the pot and then for a buckle, I found a small picture frame that I’ve had a long time. Painted it yellow and hot glued it to the ribbon. Then, took a shamrock glitter embellishment from the Dollar Tree and added it for some “lucky” flair.

So cute and easy but let’s make another version.

I took the same green paint and gave it a couple of layers to completely cover the tupperware. They come 2 to a package so 2 for $1. I used a ribbon I had in my craft stash and for this buckle I used yellow cardstock. I already had some Dollar Tree green flowers and added a gold, glittery coin.

Which version is your favorite? Use what you have and get creative! You have the luck o’ the Irish with you!
