Surprise! Look Who We Featured….

As we mentioned earlier this week, we aren’t having a “typical” guest judge feature this week, due to the fun of having YOU–our readers–judge this challenge.  But, that hasn’t stopped us from wanting to introduce you to some fun, new blogs!  Today’s the day–we’re spotlighting several of you.  We randomly picked three blogs to showcase today (from the comments left HERE), so get ready to say hello!

Before we make introductions, though, we want to remind you to click over HERE to the linkup post, and vote on your favorite entry into this week’s challenge, Fall Projects.

Last we counted, there were already over 140 marvelous projects entered, so judges, you have your work cut out for you!  You will be able to vote until 6 P.M. (EST) tonight, Friday, September 30th.  You’re going to have so much fun looking at all the entries!  Make sure you remember to leave a little comment love, while you’re visiting–everyone loves that!

Now, let’s meet our featured readers.

From Comment #54….Kassi and Kayli of Truly Lovely

Kassi and Kayli are two sisters who make their blogging home together at Truly Lovely.

Kayli is studying Elementary Education at New Mexico State University.  Kassi is a newlywed, balancing her new family with a job in software marketing.  These two sisters stay connected by sharing their enjoyment of lovely things at Truly Lovely.

The Truly Lovely sisters also enjoy having the chance to help others share lovely things.  They host a fun weekly linkup party  called “Fancy This Friday”.  Check it out and join up today, if you’d like!

Fancy This

Let’s take a look at some of the fun things Kassi and Kayli have been working on, lately.

“Stache” jar

Painted ceramic tile

Pretty fleece pillow

Welcome to The CSI Project, Kassi and Kayli!  We’re so glad we’ve had a chance to meet you.

From Comment # 27….Karie of The House of Bledsoe

Karie is a wife and mother who has recently transitioned to working from home.  Just look at those two cute sons!

She has what she calls “a never-ending to-do list”, and tries to accomplish her tasks with as much frugality as she can.  This means that Karie is always willing to try to DIY projects.

Here are three of Karie’s recent projects that caught our eye:

Strawberry Nutella mini cups

Haunted house from a Goldfish box

Darling Fall vignette

Welcome to The CSI Project, Karie!  We’re looking forward to seeing more creative ideas from The House of Bledsoe here in the future.

Comment #31….Steph of Crafting in the Rain

Steph is a wife and stay-at-home mom to three kids, living in the rainy northwestern side of the United States.  (Hence the name of her blog…don’t you just love that tag line?)

When we were browsing through Crafting in the Rain, we noticed that Steph recently won a ticket to attend the 2012 Snap! Conference.  Congrats, Steph!  You’ll have a blast, there.

Steph has some terrific projects that we enjoyed viewing.  Here are three that we want to show you.

Denim rosette necklace

Dressed up dresser (love that top!)

Just in time for Halloween: Wolf Costume

There’s even more good stuff over at Crafting in the Rain.  It’s great to get to know you, Steph–welcome to The CSI Project!

We hope all of you have had as much fun getting to know these creative ladies as we have, this week.  It’s wonderful to be a part of a community of such unique and imaginative individuals who are so willing to share their talents.  Please take the time to get to know these and other CSI Project readers better this week, as YOU judge the Fall Project Challenge!
